**New Beginnings Recovery Home is currently seeking two qualified RSW/RSSW professionals to join our multidisciplinary team.**

**Available Positions**:
**1) Day Shift - Group Counsellor 8am-4pm**
**Position Overview**:
The Group Counsellor plays a pivotal role in delivering structured group therapy sessions, integrating clinical best practices, and supporting clients in achieving their treatment goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate and lead **group counselling and psychoeducation sessions** utilizing evidence-based psychotherapy approaches (CBT, DBT) and trauma-informed care
- Focus on key recovery topics, including relapse prevention, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and life skills development
- Collaborate with the clinical team on individualized treatment planning and progress evaluations
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with PHIPA
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated care
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Registered with the OCSWSSW as an RSW or RSSW
- Experience delivering CBT/DBT-based psychotherapy material
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate group therapy sessions effectively
**2) Evening Shift - Support Counsellor 4pm - 12:15am**
**Position Overview**:
The Support Counsellor is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment during evening hours and providing client-centered support to promote overall wellness and program adherence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide **one-on-one client support**, including active listening and crisis intervention as needed
- Monitor and document client behavior and progress in accordance with PHIPA standards
- Ensure adherence to program guidelines, house rules, and safety protocols
- Assist with medication administration under supervision (if applicable)
- Foster a positive, community-oriented atmosphere among residents
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Registered with the OCSWSSW as an RSW or RSSW
- Previous experience in addiction and/or mental health settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage crisis situations effectively
