We’re seeking a compassionate, grounded **Addiction & Mental Health Counsellor** to join our care team. You’ll play a vital role in helping clients work through addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges in both one-on-one and group-based settings.
- Facilitate individual counselling sessions using CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches
- Lead group therapy and psychoeducation sessions (e.g., relapse prevention, emotional regulation, life skills)
- Collaborate on treatment planning and progress reviews with clinical team
- Maintain clear and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with PHIPA
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences
- Support a culture of dignity, safety, and community throughout the program
- Registered Social Worker, Nurse, Psychotherapist, or Addiction Specialist (e.g., CRPO, OCSWSSW, CNO, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in designing and leading clinical programming
- Familiarity with Ontario’s mental health system, OHIP billing pathways, and compliance regulations
- Skilled in trauma-informed, culturally competent, and client-centered care
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about community healing and building a treatment model that prioritizes equity and access

Budget:

- Contract work: Flexible (hourly or project-based)
- Full-time salary: Competitive and based on experience
