We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in the full-time role of Wide Format Print Operator. This role requires impeccable communication, customer relations and organizational skills, has a pleasant outgoing personality and enjoys working in a small office environment.

In this role you would be responsible for setting up and operating our digital wide format roll to roll printing equipment as well as performing finishing operations including operating CNC cutting tables, laminating equipment, trimming to create finished products and assembling various display solutions. Along with our prepress team, digital printing team and bindery team they will work to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations both in terms of quality and turnaround time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for set up, operation, and basic maintenance of large format roll to roll printers and associated equipment. Ensures efficient production of high-quality product within a set time frame to meet product specification and customer demand. Capable of operating multiple types of equipment through the production process.
- Reviews job orders to determine any special printing instructions, material specifications, colors, or quantities to be printed. Ensures proper format, appearance, and layout.
- Cleans and performs basic preventative maintenance on printers and associated equipment. Identifies issues and makes minor repairs to printers and other equipment as needed.
- Operates and maintains a variety of equipment throughout the production process, including laminators, to complete the full circle of production activities.
- Ensures the safe operation of the facility through regular inspection of equipment and by maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Set up and operate Zund cutting machine with high proficiency to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all production materials and cutting blades are at the cutter before set-up
- Determine the best utilization of master sheet, cutting to customers’ specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective action on equipment to detect malfunctions and to achieve maximum machine performance
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the Zund cutting machine.
- Accurately record time and materials used.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3+ years of experience operating wide format roll to roll printers, laminators and ZUND or equivalent CAD cutting tables
- Experience with ONYX RIP Software is an asset but not a requirement.
- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset but not a requirement.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
