**The Opportunity**:
- A highly visible supply chain role that will oversee the purchasing process by SKU for 3 warehouses. This is a hands-on position responsible for developing and executing supply plans that will enable the organization to meet inventory, sales, and service objectives.
- Also responsible for issuing purchase orders to suppliers, delivery follow-up and positioning inventory by warehouse to have the right product at the right place at the right time to avoid back orders maximize sales and minimize costs.
- Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales and marketing teams is paramount in achieving these objectives.
**What You Will Bring**:
- 5+ years of material buying of a high volume of products (200+ SKUS) in a global supply chain environment.
- Degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Previous experience in a Medical Device Manufacturing environment is an asset
- Experience with MRP / ERP systems
- Excellent analytical abilities & organizational skills
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
- Experience in supply chain management and inventory control
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products (especially Word, Excel, and PP)
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with external partners
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter and be able to work in a dynamic environment
- Must be organized and able to balance multiple priorities appropriately
- Must be goal-focused and committed to completing task.

- Knowledge of Process Improvements & Fulfillment Strategies APICS Certification or equivalent highly regarded
**What You Will Do**:
- Analyze order plans pulled from ERP system and place purchase orders accordingly.
- Analyze and manage short, dated product in collaboration with the Integrated Business Planners and negotiate MOQ’s with suppliers when required.
- Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery. - Expedite or defer orders as required based on inventory changes.
- Minimize stock shortages.
- Determine and establish optimal inventory levels in collaboration with the IBP team (Integrated Business. Planners) based on forecast, demand variation and product lead time.
- Perform warehouse transfers and manage flow of products between warehouse locations (maintenance of 4-5 warehouses).
- Manage PO to invoice discrepancies, returns to vendor and supplier quality issues.
- Manage the distribution network in ERP for all products.
- Maintain data integrity (Lead time, MOQ etc.).
- Collaborate with internal customers and provide a high level of customer service, including recommending solutions, resources, and alternative supply options.
- Ensure and promote compliance to Company processes, procedures, and policies.
- Monitor and work with supplier to improve performances, On Time Delivery, Quality & Communication.
- Maintain Vendor data.
- Inventory Management. Ensure that WHO requirements are respected.
- Balance inventory between warehouses.
- Manage inventories to ensure continuous replenishment while minimizing turns.
- Ensure inventory availability while minimizing.
- Provide recommendations on slow moving, excess and obsolete inventory.
- Safety stock review vs forecast.
- In collaboration with the sourcing group, aid on cost reduction & recommend potential cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics, including Purchase Price Variance, inventory, shortages, and supplier performance.
- Identify and escalate potential supply gaps vs demand.
- Support new item creation process for specific products.
