**About the Role**:
The Casual Installation Support Technician will help with (as needed):

- Assist in setting up and organizing tools, equipment, and materials needed for patient handling system installations.
- Ensure the installation area is clean and free of obstructions.
- Help move and position patient handling equipment, such as lifts, slings, and other mobility aids, as directed by the lead installer.
- Handle equipment with care to avoid damage and ensure safety.
- Follow instructions from the lead installer to assemble and install patient handling systems, including securing hardware, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment.
- Assist with the installation of overhead tracks, floor lifts, and related components.
- Perform other tasks as required by the lead installer to support the overall installation process.
- Assist in organizing and managing installation supplies and materials.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in construction or building trades.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Experience with various construction materials (e.g., concrete, steel, wood).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and layouts.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in hardware and component assembly.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently and for long periods of time.
- Valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract.
- Experience with patient lift systems in health care settings is an asset.
