**Qualifications**:

- **Food Preparation Safety and Hygiene**:

- Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Regularly sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to prevent foodborne illnesses.
- Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Food Handler's Certificate.
- **Menu Planning**:

- Develop and implement nutritious and appealing menus for students.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions and cultural considerations.
- Collaborate with school nutritionists to ensure balanced meals.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Manage inventory and notify management of needed supplies.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers for timely and cost-effective procurement.
- **Time Management**:

- Efficiently manage time to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule.
- Prioritize tasks to meet daily deadlines.
- Adapt to changing schedules and demands in a dynamic environment.
- **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of food usage, inventory, and other relevant data.
- Track expenses and budget for food supplies.
- Prepare reports on kitchen operations and food safety compliance.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff.
- Address any concerns or feedback from students and staff regarding meals.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment in the cafeteria.

**Requirements**:

- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Child Abuse Registry Check
