**Job Summary**:
River East Transcona School Division is hiring a Nutrition Program Facilitator to administer healthy daily breakfasts and lunches to Donwood School.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Purchase supplies and foods to support the Nutrition Program as needed.
- Plan daily meals (breakfast, snack, lunch) for students in accordance with the Canada Food Guide.
- Facilitate and make daily breakfast and lunch for students.
- Supply and manage a daily snack cart.
- Manage the inventory and storage of food and supplies.
- Distribute program information and publicity materials.
- Liaise with the Divisional Nutrition Program Coordinator to order food centrally.
- Liaise with school administration to refine plans to meet student needs.
- Wash and sanitize food equipment in accordance with Health and Safety Guidelines.

**Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**:

- Qualifications_
- Knowledge and/or experience of working with young people is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Must have Food Handler Certificate.
- Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide is an asset.
- External applicants must supply a Criminal Record Search and a cleared Child Abuse Registry check upon hire.

- Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset

- Unpacking delivered goods and may require lifting
- Purchasing supplies may require walking long distances

Salary range: $16.97 - $18.14 per hour
