**Run a healthier business with TradeBrain.** TradeBrain is seeking an **Operations Manager** based in **British Columbia** to manage back-office operations for our roster of trade - and service-based businesses. You will report directly to the Founder and act as a strategic partner for our clients who are great at their trade but overwhelmed by admin. Our goal for 2026 is **sustainability and quality**. You are coming in to replace the founder’s day-to-day operational tasks, eventually growing from a part-time role (5-10 hours/week) into a more substantial commitment (15-20+ hours) over the next 6-12 months. **What You’ll Do** - **Client Oversight**: General management of client accounts, ensuring scheduling, invoicing, and communications are handled efficiently. - **System Building**: Create and refine SOPs and automation using Google Workspace and AI tools. - **Problem Solving**: Act as the "Operator" who handles day-to-day work so the founder can focus on "Growth" work. **Who You Are** - **The Future Entrepreneur**: You likely want to run your own business one day and want hands-on experience in how to build and scale one. - **The Self-Starter**: You are tech-savvy — especially with AI — comfortable with remote work, and eager to learn new skills. - **Location**: You **must** be located in British Columbia, Canada. - **A "Get S**t Done" Attitude**: You don't wait for a manual; you build the manual. - **Jack of All Trades**: Comfortable jumping from a financial spreadsheet to a client's scheduling software to drafting a high-level SOP. - **Resourceful Problem Solver**: You find the solution 80% of the way before presenting it for approval. - **Ruthlessly Organized**: Your calendar and inbox are a work of art. - **Outgoing Communicator**: You can lead a client meeting with confidence and handle problems with grace. **Compensation & Terms** - Initial part-time contract role. - Starting Mid-January 2026 - Pay and growth milestones to be discussed based on experience. - Briefly describe your experience in client management or small business operations. - Why does supporting blue-collar tradespeople appeal to you? - Give an example of a system or "shortcut" you created in a past role to save time. - What are your own business goals for the next 3 years? - Confirm you are currently residing in British Columbia. **Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Freelance Contract length: 6 months Pay: From $1,500.00 per month Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week Work Location: Remote
