**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

As an **Emergency Vehicle Sales Representative**, you will be the first point of contact for sales inquiries, bids, and tenders within your designated territory. Acting as a trusted advisor to fire departments and emergency service providers, you will be the go-to expert on our premier fire apparatus brand, **E-One**, with a deep understanding of our full lineup—from $250,000 command units to $3,000,000 aerial platforms.

**RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES**

As an **Emergency Vehicle Sales Representative**, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with fire departments and emergency service providers while ensuring they receive the best fire apparatus solutions tailored to their operational needs. Your key responsibilities include:

- **Customer Relationship Management** - Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise.
- **Fire Apparatus Specification & Pricing** - Guide customers through the vehicle specification process, providing expert recommendations on configurations, features, and custom options while preparing accurate pricing proposals.
- **Bid & Tender Management** - Oversee and coordinate bid and tender submissions, ensuring proposals are competitive, compliant, and aligned with municipal and industrial procurement requirements.
- **Sales & Technical Support** - Provide both internal and external sales support by collaborating with team members and manufacturer representatives to deliver accurate technical information and seamless customer service.
- **Project Management** - Manage the sales cycle from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery, ensuring all specifications, approvals, and production milestones are met efficiently.
- **Industry Engagement** - Represent 1200 Degrees Ontario at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits, staying engaged with market trends and customer needs.
- **Technical Consultation & Department Support** - Serve as a trusted resource for fire departments, offering technical assistance and expertise in apparatus selection, operational considerations, and long-term fleet planning.
- **Quoting & Budget Planning** - Assist fire departments with budget planning by providing detailed quotes, estimates, and financial guidance to support their short
- and long-term procurement strategies.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- **Sales & Project Management Experience** - Proven experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and quoting to final delivery, with a focus on long-term customer relationships and project oversight.
- **Heavy-Duty Vehicle Sales Experience (preferred)** - Previous experience in selling **Class 6-8 trucks** or specialized commercial vehicles (Bus or RV) is highly desirable, particularly in the emergency services or municipal sector.
- **Commercial Account Management** - Strong background in managing commercial accounts, including working with municipalities, fire departments, and industrial fire brigades.
- **Customer Service & Relationship Building** - Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with fire chiefs, procurement teams, and fleet managers.
- **Technical & Software Proficiency** - Comfortable using **Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools** and **Microsoft Office Suite** to track sales activity, generate proposals, and manage customer interactions.
- **Valid Driver’s License** - Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel frequently within Ontario and across Canada as needed. The ability to travel to the **United States** for manufacturer visits, training, and industry events is required.
