**Job Summary**:
This role will report to the Project Manager. Duties include taking the lead on all on-site activities ensuring the completion of each project on time and on budget by using planning, organizing and excellent communication; completing quality inspections; supervising staff and sub-contractors. This role will work collaboratively shoulder to shoulder with other sites, procurement, operations, the construction division and the design division

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Create daily, weekly, and monthly construction schedules that achieve the project completion timeline within labor budget parameters.
- Assist the Superintendent in managing work on site to ensure the compliance of construction with the drawings and specifications
- Support the Superintendent in planning and implementing schedules, determining manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment and requirements are maintained
- Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are being followed
- Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
- Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures for weekly labour, equipment and materials; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Achieves construction quality standards by conducting daily inspections and taking corrective action as required.
- Advise Superintendent and Project Manager of potential problems, work interference and schedule difficulties and assist in resolving these problems
- Prevents fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and quality.
- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Positive attitude, willingness to encourage co-workers, and act as an ambassador for our companies.
- Previous experience in Restaurant Construction and Renovations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and set priorities with exercise in flexibility where necessary.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and construction documentation.
- Understanding of all safety procedures and recognition of hazards and to proactively eliminating risk to employees and site.
