Donor Development Coordinator

**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience and training within the charitable sector
**Experience Required**:Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in professional not for profit fundraising, particularly at a smaller not for profit where multi-tasking and meeting deadlines are critical skills.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven history of success in non-profit fundraising and meeting financial target
- Demonstrate success identifying prospects and securing gifts, donor management, and stewardship
- Experience with one-on-one solicitation and presentations
- Proven history building relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders
- Proven ability to organize and execute successful fundraising programs and special events
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience recruiting and organizing event volunteers
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional customer relations skills with a focus on relationship building
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Donor Perfect or Raiser’s Edge strongly preferred.
- Proficient with social media platforms
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle
**Responsibilities**:
- Implement fund development plan to meet organization fundraising goals
- Develop, organize, and implement localized strategies, proposals, presentations, and one-on-one gift solicitations to attract and retain annual and major donors
- Develop, track, maintain and steward strong relationships with individual, corporate and in-kind donors
- Oversee and contribute compelling material for all organizational written communication including newsletters, annual report, and annual appeals
- Responsible for updating website and social media platforms
- Ensures records in donor software are always up to date, relevant and necessary reports are run for donor analysis and monitor fundraising progress
- Responsible for identifying, researching, soliciting, and cultivating corporate, foundation and individual gifts
- Develop and administer annual fundraising activities, letter appeals, and online giving initiatives
- Plan, organize, secure sponsorships, and implement fundraising events
- Responsible for identifying and completing grant opportunities
- Convey informative, compelling tours and presentations to prospective donors and dignitaries
- Oversee stewardship plan for all fundraising special events, donor events, donor recognition and cultivation efforts
- Lead donor stewardship efforts, including, but not limited to written donor updates and donor recognition on digital signage and websites
- Liaise and provide support to the Capital Campaign fundraising team, providing administrative support, including but not limited to prospect research, donor identification, database gift, pledge, and financial reporting and stewardship.
- Liaise with volunteer services, general manager and accounting to optimize donor opportunities and to ensure all information is documented
**Other**:
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Passionate about advancing the mission, beliefs and values of Agape Table
- Works to nurture a culture of philanthropy
- Serve as a liaison to the business community and civic organizations
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
