Order Desk Clerk

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for processing customer orders, mostly over the phone, ensuring any changes are communicated to the appropriate parties effectively.
- Provide in house support for the sales team
- Coordinate shipment dates and production processes with customers and colleagues, provide updates and respond to information requests as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner as their primary point of contact
- Accurately input orders into our POS system
- Other administrative tasks as required.
**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 education, college education preferred
- Strong communication skills required, both verbal and written
- Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptionally organized
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word and Excel
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a previous order desk environment
- Knowledge of building materials is a strong asset
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Canadian experience in the construction or related industry is a strong asset
- Friendly with a positive demeanor to provide excellent customer service
- Dedicated and reliable worker with a team spirit
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
