**Overview**

**Duties**
- Cut, trim, debone, and portion various meats.
- Grind meat, prepare sausage, and marinate or season cuts as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food handling standards.
- Weigh, package, and label meat and deli products for sale.
- Assist customers with inquiries about meat products, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process phone-in orders from customers.
- Receive and inspect deliveries, monitor inventory, and rotate stock.
- Arrange and maintain meat and deli displays.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in a similar food preparation role.
- Strong knife and cutting skills; familiarity with butchery equipment.
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations related to meat handling.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently or with a team.

**Preferred**
- Experience in a retail butcher or deli setting.
- Knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking methods.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
