**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates and represents AUArts at key recruitment activities within assigned region; inclusive of the scheduling and delivery of tour visits, presentations and workshops for secondary school students and influencers; and other organizations and groups, representing AUArts with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
- Contacts assigned art teachers and counsellors at target high schools and associations to set up school visits and Campus Tours.
- Participates in all prospective-student on
- and off-campus events, including Campus Tours, AUArts Open House, Portfolio Review Days, Counsellor Updates and Teacher Receptions.
- Meets with prospective students and influencers 1-1 to promote AUArts programs, admission requirements and deadlines, and promote opportunities and the AUArts experience.
- Collects leads and contacts from all visits or events, ensuring data is captured in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Follows up on leads using the CRM system, cultivating relationships with prospective students, art teachers, guidance counsellors and/or other influencers.
- Assists in reviewing transcripts, language proficiency documents, portfolios and statements of intent and other admission documents submitted by applicants and determines their admissibility based on the AUArts admission requirements and policies.
- Effectively uses marketing materials and social media to generate awareness, produce leads, promote events.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of AUArts’ programming and opportunities, including those available through Continuing Education and Professional Development, transfer and articulation agreements and other partnerships.
- Minimum Undergraduate degree in a related field, preferably in Fine Art/Design.
- Experience in a related field within a post-secondary environment is an asset.
- Experience in a customer service role in the field of student recruitment, public relations or marketing is an asset.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated public speaking and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and provide information accurately and quickly upon request.
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrated ability to work in a service-oriented environment.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management systems is an asset.
- Student Information System (Banner) experience is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word and Excel).

As a member of the AUPE bargaining unit (Local 071/006), this temporary part-time position falls under a classification 5 (Five). The starting annual salary is $51,260 - $56,833 dependent upon skills, education and experience.
