**What You’ll Do**
As the Technical Sales Representative, you will support assigned customer accounts and areas, focusing on sales and business growth for all Dyno Nobel products, equipment and services by aligning Dyno Nobel offerings to customer needs and operations. You will provide account leadership and front-line technical support while communicating and coordinating with regional management, customer service, operations and technical personnel.
Other duties will include:
- Promote, foster and demand an environment of Zero Harm through coaching and leading by example - SAFETY as the NUMBER 1 PRIORITY
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with external customers to successfully meet objectives and add value for customers through a bottom-up approach.
- Provide accurate forecasting for customers in the area of responsibility to assist operations, supply chain and manufacturing in meeting overall product demand planning objectives.
- Work to achieve high levels of positive working relationships with customers to optimize sales of DNA products and services.
- Working with our customer's teams/crews on the bench and at the face underground.
- Generating, brainstorming and executing ideas/tasks with a solution based mind set, internally and externally.
- Observe industry and competitor activities to find areas for expansion and improvement of DN's products and services
- Develop leads and pursue new customers to maintain and expand current product sales
- Ability to uncover and understand customer needs and or gaps..
- Effectively influence the actions and opinions of others; accept feedback from others
- Understand and enhance service requirements to continually improve customer profitability
- Contribute to achieving budgeted customer profitability as measured by EBIT, EBITA, EBITDA
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSEC Performance Standards
- Proactively work to achieve compliance with safety systems
- Maintain the highest standards of presentation and professionalism.
- Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to reduce the overall cost of doing business.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Technology or Bachelor's degree in the area of responsibility or training, education and experience in Mining, Civil, Mineral extraction, Drilling,
- 2+ years in the Mining industry with experience in drilling and blasting, distribution, job estimating, product sales, and service sales
- Blast optimization and event investigation
- Willing to travel to remote locations 50% or more of the time
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
