**Research Facilitator and Funding Officer - Internal to APT Members**
**Regina Campus**
**1 Year Term**
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Community, Research, and Graduate Programs, the Research Facilitator and Funding Officer will provide leadership in all areas.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and supervision to hired staff in the development and implementation of short
- and long-term goals to achieve the mission of FNUniv’s Research Office.
- Coordinate and provide research grant support services to faculty and staff.
- Coordinate research training for faculty, staff, and Indigenous community partners.
- Regularly compile and provide research relevant reports for FNUniv and stakeholders.
- Support FNUniv’s two research centres, Indigenous Peoples’ Health Research Centre (IPHRC) and the National Centre for Collaboration in Indigenous Education (NCCIE).
- Support the development and maintenance of FNUniv’s Indigenous Research Ethics Board.
- Ensure that scope of work, protocols, agreements with communities, and REB approvals are respected.
- Ensure all financial annual, quarterly reporting requirements are met.
- Regularly track outcomes, data, outputs, information related to the progress of FNUniv’s Research Office.
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of a graduate degree in a related discipline with experience in coordinating and executing research projects and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, strategic planning and policy development. A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
- OCAP certification a must.
- Demonstrated experience in research administration.
- Knowledge of Indigenous research methodologies.
- Working knowledge of and significant experience in Indigenous community engagement.
- Experience in management/leadership and effective collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience working with confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Results oriented - able to translate broad goals into achievable steps with strong follow through.
- Possess strong networking skills, conflict resolution skills and consensus building skills.
- High level of professionalism, including ability to make strategic decisions and exercise good judgement.
**Salary**: APT Pay grade 8
