**Job Statement**
SFM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the service department with various tasks related to warranty claims, returns to suppliers, credit requests, RMA’s, work order estimates, billing, parts sales orders, extended warranties, etc.
**Responsibilities**
- Preparing and submitting warranty claims with high accuracy, in accordance with our service agreements
- Preparing and submitting credit memos to suppliers
- Requesting RMA’s from suppliers to return products
- Preparing and submitting required documents to return products to suppliers
- Doing follow-ups with suppliers on outstanding credit memos, warranty claims and replacement orders.
- Invoicing and monitoring extended warranties
- Supporting the RMA and parts desk team in providing RMA’s for repairs and returns, answering customer’s requests related to parts, entering sales orders for parts, etc.
- Supporting the Repairs Coordinator in providing repair estimates to customers, answer inquiries on repairs status, closing work orders, invoicing, credit memos for repairs, etc.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a service department, either in an administrative or technical role
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service role
- Knowledge of professional sound, lighting products, and musical instruments would be a major asset
- Knowledge of electronic parts would be an asset
- Experience working as a warranty claim administrator would be an asset
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong learning skills
- Knowledge of JD Edwards or similar software would be an asset
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
