**About This Opportunity**

**What You Will Do**
- ** **Following the financial transaction, such as rents, sublease payments, renewals, taxes, and property expenses
- Processing the lease to make sure all the information is accurate and logged into the database and file appropriately
- Overseeing and ensuring that billing and all other financial transactions are being taken care of in a timely manner and informing necessary personnel of any missing or late payments
- Compiling data and preparing new leases, lease renewals and renovation agreements
- Coordinating the distribution of completed documentation to appropriate parties
- Providing information and responding to related inquiries from internal staff, company lawyers, landlords, financial institutions, franchisors, and their advisors

**What You Need To Perform In This Job**
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
- Legal Assistant/Paralegal certification or equivalent post-secondary designation; an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of lease agreements and their components
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Meticulous in keeping databases accurate and up to date
- Ability to capture and influence Landlords
- Confident in building and maintaining relationships with several key stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate a high level of initiative
- French language skills would be an asset
