**1. Job Description**

This position includes, but is not limited to, the following core tasks:

- Writing Resumes, Cover Letters, Online Profile Content (LinkedIn/ Indeed), and other documents for a wide range of clients in a professional, confidential, and accurate manner.
- Editing written content of other DocDoctor Writers/ Editors and providing timely and accurate feedback, revisions, and finalized files.
- Assisting with the triage and workflow of the Editor-in-Chief.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.

**2. Requirements**
- **Experience**: previous writing/ editing experience is required, which can include roles in document preparation, communications, public relations, writing clinics, or academic experience. Previous Resume writing experience is not required, but is a strong asset, if applicable. _Please provide specific examples of relevant experience in your Cover Letter (required)._
- **Education**: a college or university degree is required, however, current students with a strong academic background and willingness to learn and who are completing their studies and have adequate availability may also be considered. _Please clearly state your education level in your Cover Letter (required). If currently in school, please also outline your availability._
- **Languages**: this position requires a strong command of the English language and native English proficiency. The ability to communicate in French is not required, however, bilingualism is an asset. _If you are bilingual, please describe your language proficiency in your Cover Letter (optional/ if applicable)._
- **CORE COMPETENCIES**: natural eloquence and the ability to write powerful, compelling texts; an exceptional grasp of grammar, spelling, and syntax; an understanding of writing and spelling conventions; the ability to conduct background research online and distill corporate characters and values; an ability to adapt tone to suit a variety of target audiences; an ability to use professional fonts and formatting to construct impressively formatted, textual documents.
