Paladin Technologies currently has a need for a Junior Business Writer to assist our Marketing department with team administrative duties, business development content creation, and both internal and external writing endeavors. This role is based out of our office in Ottawa, ON.

**Role and Responsibilities**: Roles and responsibilities include:

- Marketing team administrative duties, including completing company prequalification packages.
- Champion vendor setup and vendor portal management.
- Assist the Pursuits team with the preparation of business development content and documentation.
- Providing support to the Content Coordinator for the writing and updating of personnel resumes, project references, project case studies and executive team biographies.
- Generating and updating PowerPoint presentations.
- Supporting additional writing projects for the Marketing team including but not limited to, policies, procedures, blogs, and social content.
- Additional creative projects such as custom organization charts and graphic design.
- Ability to work in highly collaborative environments

**Qualifications**:

- Up to 1 year of relevant experience in a Marketing, Communications and/or Business Writing role preferably in the Security, Construction, Infrastructure, or IT industries.
- A diploma or university degree in English, Business, Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, or similar field of study is preferred.
- Exceptional writing and research skills to effectively produce high-quality proposal documentation and marketing materials.
- A demonstrated self-starter with the ability to take the initiative.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage competing tasks, and excel at meeting urgent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment
- Advanced working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat suites.

**_ Salary Range:_** $40,000 - $50,000
