**Commercial Painter/Taper/Wallpaper** to join our team. Join

**Rook Hotel**

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3PM

**Hours of Work**:40hrs/week

**Location**:3660 Hurontario St., Mississauga, ON L5B 3C4

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to fire tape (level 1 taping).
- Ability to tape using up to level 4 taping finish.
- Work on ladders and scaffolds.
- Able to use brush to cut straight lines.
- Maintain a clean work site and clean tools.
- Measure a wall or ceiling, cut wallcovering to fit, and install the paper, vinyl, or fabric coverings
- Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
- Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
- Comply with health and safety regulations when operating equipment or walking on the job site.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Required to bring the following tools and equipment**:

- CSA Approved Steel Toe Shoes.
- Hard Hat.
- Painting tools required (company will provide consumable brushes and rollers).
- At least 2 years of painting experience.
- Knowledge for mixing materials (mud compound, powder compound).
- Experience with using roller and paint spraying machines.
