**Job Description**:
As the Part -Time Temporary Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator, you will report to the Manager of Clinical Informatics, and work alongside the Pharmacy Drug Dictionary Review Technician. You are an integral member of the CARE4 Informatics and Technology Services (ITS) division as well as the Regional Pharmacy Team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Pharmacy Drug Dictionary Review Technician to oversee and ensure completion of the following tasks:

- Rebuilding incorrect items
- Transferring purchasing information and cost to rebuilt items
- Transferring inventory to rebuilt items
- Correcting any existing inventory issues created by the initial entry
- Updating all order sets that included rebuilt items
- Re-entering the new item onto each active patient profile
- Replacing rebuilt items in every ADU at each site
- Rebuilding and updating each item in all pieces of automation in pharmacy (ADU’s, Box Picker, barcoding, etc).

This challenging position seeks an individual who is self-directed, analytical, and organized to fill the role of Pharmacy Informatics Coordinator. This role involves working closely with the regional pharmacy departments to determine needs and the facilitation of effective solutions that are consistent with organizational goals and objectives.

**Education**:

- Registered Pharmacy Technician, in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists

**Experience**:

- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting working in clinical informatics role
- Knowledge and understanding of technical rotations and all pharmacy automation
- Good understanding of automated repackaging and distribution systems, computerized unit dose including sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Strong understanding and experience with MEDITECH EXPANSE modules related to pharmacy
- _Sound understanding of medication inventory processes and procedures_
- Experience with project management in a LEAN environment with yellow or green belt training
- Familiar with the components of hospital information systems and how each module interfaces with pharmacy
