**Manager**

**Integration, Platform & Data Management,**

As the **Manager, Integration, Platform & Data Management, ITS**, you will report to the Director, Clinical Services, ITS and provide leadership and overall management to the Systems Integration, Meditech Platform and Technical Applications, Data Management/Clinical Business Analytics, Data Quality and Patient Access teams; providing both operational and regional leadership support. This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources and supports are in place ensuring standardization in both patient and systems workflows, high data quality capture, reporting and change management governance processes. In this role you will be responsible to ensure responsive management of service requests and management of systems, providing service excellence across Team RVH and as lead agency to the partner hospitals.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Computer Sciences, Data management and/or Health Care IT related studies,
- Minimum five years+ of related Leadership experience in a Health Care IT setting and data management systems. Leadership in Clinical Informatics and Applications, or Information Technology and data management experience is preferred
- Seven years+ in Health Care IT and/or Clinical Informatics related experience and HIM
- Experience in a Meditech Expanse environment is preferred
- Demonstrated project management experience with large, complex IT projects, PMP designation is an asset.
- Familiar with legislation; the Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, the Public Hospital Acts, PHIPPA and other relevant legislation

- Ability to assess clinical requirements of information systems, communicate end user needs, and identify appropriate solutions, systems, reporting, integrations and technologies.
- Collaborates and communicates with all levels of leadership and with various members of the Interprofessional health care team to ensure efficient high-quality systems, data, reporting and ultimately safe quality patient care both in the hospital and with other partner hospitals

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership to the team and demonstrates role modelling of desired attributes and uses effective coaching with staff to align with the RVH My Care values
- Provide 24/7 escalation leadership support to ITS team providing on-call support for Meditech HCIS and any ITS related-on call systems services supported by ITS team for RVH and partner sites. Coordination of resources for resolution and communication to internal and external partners, including liaison with other sites during off hours, direct communication with HSL as needed, escalates to ITS Director and Admin on call as required.
- Collaborates with all appropriate stakeholders for downtimes, projects, upgrades, testing, incident reviews and recovery processes.
- Supports, promotes and embraces change with a commitment to continuous quality improvement, system and workflow optimization and system enhancements ensuring best practices for Patient Access, Reports auditing, Community Wide Scheduling, Health Information Management, Data Quality auditing for registration and reports, Scanning and Archiving.
- Responsible for ongoing development of the clinical and non-clinical team members to provide service throughout the organization and with partner site hospitals. Providing development plans that align with the hospitals strategy to deliver the optimal and appropriate support services
- System development and implementation to support clinical program development for new and changing requirements
- Develop creative ways to enhance integration models for new and existing systems. Develop integration skills in team and maintain high availability integration
