We require a Law Clerk/Assistant primarily experienced in residential and commercial real estate closings, purchases, sales and mortgages from start to finish. **Hours of Work**:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Additional Hours maybe required based on operational needs
- Scarfone Hawkins is following Covid-19 protocols including having a Vaccination policy.
- This role is Hybrid Model **during covid **(work from home and in the office). The schedule is based on operational needs.
- This is NOT 100% remote

**What you will be doing**
- Provide legal and administrative support in a mixed practice mainly focused on residential and commercial real estate;
- Input and maintain relevant information into Conveyancer and Teraview
- Perform title searches and prepare reports and closing documents;
- Liaise with clients, lenders, and other law firms
- Prepare, edit, and file correspondence and legal documents from instructions;
- Adhere to all company’s policies, guidelines and statutory/legislative requirements
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Who you are**
- Relevant Post Secondary Education
- Minimum 2 years’ of real estate experience an asset
- Ability to complete residential and commercial real estate transactions with mínimal supervision
- Role up your sleeves, proactive & positive attitude
- Recognize and respect people’s diversity, individual differences and perspectives
- Be willing to continuously learn and grow
- Be willing to work independently and part of a team
- Strong time-management, organizational and document/file management skills;
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Conveyancer, Teraview, and Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
