As a Club Attendant working at Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, you will be a welcome addition within our Club Lounge Community. Your role is greater than just delivering exceptional food and beverage to the guest. It will be you who establishes the Club Members’ first impression as you set the tone and expectation for what is about to come.
You will be engaging with guests on a personal level and building the trust of our members. As a Club Attendant, you will be the one to assure our guests that they will receive quality Sheraton service through your professionalism as you seamlessly guide them through the Club Lounge experience. We encourage you to welcome, inspire and delight each guest as you express genuine hospitality by providing personalized service that goes beyond expectation.
**Job Summary**
The Club Attendant is responsible for ensuring that each and every guest enjoys their visit and leaves with a memorable and lasting impression. They embrace the Sheraton brand vision and bring it to life in the Club Lounge. The associates in this role take pride in being of service to others, including our most loyal Marriott Bonvoy Members, and are always available at a moment’s notice to offer food and beverage suggestions, respond to inquiries, and engage in casual conversation.
The Club Attendant always puts the guest first by being prepared for service and ensuring that the space is clean, organized and inviting. Their attention to detail is meticulous, but balanced by a style of service that is engaging while looking for the opportunity to entertain and educate. They will speak informatively about the space, history and interior features of the hotel utilizing their strong presentation skills. The associate will require a strong ability to read guest cues to understand the experience the guest desires.
**Club Attendant Key Roles**
- Welcome guests by being approachable, enthusiastic, professional, and hospitable in their presence and demeanor
- Elevate the guest experience by anticipating guest/member needs, identifying their preferences and adapting your style of service accordingly
- Accurately complete and deliver all barista coffee/tea orders with uncompromising quality and consistency as per specifications
- Barista Beverage recipe adherence to standards
- Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies
- Processing bills and taking payment while following cash handling procedures as outlined in company policies
- Use given empowerment to handle guest concerns with mínimal supervision
- Possesses a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed
- Provide table maintenance, deliver food and beverage to tables/bar seats, and support bartender as required
- Ensure food and beverages are presented with exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests
- Restock buffet, beverage stations, and mise-en-place as needed; ensure station areas and walkways are clean and free of clutter
- Ensure every guest and Marriott Bonvoy member leaves with fond memories by providing a unique and exceptional experience
- Any other duties as assigned by leadership to support the guest experience

- Organized & Efficient: can confidently and quickly respond to guest requests by prioritizing tasks appropriately between execution and operational tasks; all while maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Salesmanship: speak informatively and intelligently about our food and beverage offerings, as well as hotel amenities and member benefits, as a way of leading guests towards a decision that will satisfy their wants and needs at that moment; this includes and is not limited to topics of interest regarding the history, stories behind, product identification or distinction of spirits, wine, beer and/or coffee
