**What you'll do**:
A Concierge Lounge Attendant’s goal is to provide a warm welcome and exemplary service to every guest. The principal functions of this role include welcoming our guests warmly and with enthusiasm as they enter the Concierge Lounge, ensure food items are properly displayed and replenished, assist our Elite member guests with whatever they may need, and ensure proper access to the Lounge. **The responsibilities of this position include**:

- Prepares and displays breakfast buffet, afternoon snacks, evening hors d’oeuvres, newspapers and monitors use of the Guest Honour bar
- Performs daily and monthly inventory, stocking Lounge as required\
- Controls guest access to the lounge
- Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen area and guest lounge area
- Handles guest concerns, compliments and suggestions in a professional manner, using LEARN processes and principles
- Socializes with Elite Members in a professional manner while promoting Hotel amenities and services
- Responds to guest problems in a timely and professional manner, utilizing the empowerment process
- Answers telephones and respond to caller requests, inquiries
- Completes daily shift task lists and related reports
- Provides guests information regarding Marriott’s Elite Members Reward program
- Provides operational support to Food and Beverage as requested
- Ensures guest safety and security by keeping all guest information confidential and handling guestroom keys and safety deposit boxes in a professional manner
- Maintains and distributes Newspaper Direct Request System, making charges to guest accounts as costs are incurred
- Attends and participates in the daily Food and Beverage pre-shift meetings
- Undertakes special projects and other duties as assigned by management

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalency, Hospitality diploma or degree preferred
- Minimum of 6 months related experience.
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel preferred, PMS an asset.
- Service-oriented with problem-solving and decision making skills.
- Professional, detail-oriented and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work various shifts primarily afternoons/evenings with morning, weekend and holiday flexibility

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.14-$24.14 per hour
