**Reporting To**:
The Accounting Specialist is reporting to the Manager - Accounting& Finance

**Job Duties**
- Assess budgets, control expenses, and communicate with departmental leaders to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
- Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all activities.
- Understand on the content and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Ensure that all month-end financial duties and resulting financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Record all business transactions, process accruals and adjustments, reconcile accounts, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial statements.
- Maintain year-end working papers and spreadsheets, and assist with preparation for any internal or external audits or independent reviews being conducted
- Collect, interpret, and report on financial data.
- Prepare financial statements and bank reconciliations.
- Process and enter invoices for payment, match invoices with purchase orders, and check for accuracy.
- Prepare monthly submissions for accounting and monthly remittances.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Tax Filing to make sure compliance with applicable tax legislation.

**Job Requirements**
- Advanced level of job-related integrity and excellent work ethic
- Ability to work individually as well as part of a team as a team player.
- Degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting field
- At least, 1-2 years of experience in the accounting and financial industry
- Ability to analyze numerical data utilizing various forms of tables, spreadsheets, and other tools. (Excel spreadsheet skills are highly recommended)
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting rules, (ASPE, IFRS), Income tax laws (T1&T2), and related reporting requirements.
- Ability to understand and calculate financial terms such as discounts, interest rates, proportions, percentages, ratios, and taxes. budgets, and internal controls. etc.
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems, ERP systems.
- Be Meticulous with numbers/ Deep Attention to detail.
- Superb Time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands.
- Bilingualism in English and Korean is a strong asset
