**The Company**

The Olympic Building Centre, Winnipeg’s award-winning building materials supplier, is currently seeking a highly organized individual to join our fast paced, award winning operations team.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, working mainly outdoors, this position will ensure customer orders are loaded and will assist the customer with any needs until they leave the yard.

**Responsibilities**
- Always greet and assist customers and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Guide customers around the yard and load and /or assist them in loading their order
- Answer simple questions or forward them to the appropriate person for resolution
- Secure customer signatures for orders and distribute paperwork
- Ensure yard is kept in a safe, clean and orderly fashion always
- Assist drivers, Warehouse person and/or forklift drivers as necessary
- Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing product
- Follow the Check 5 quality program to maintain customer service goals.

**Qualifications**
- Friendly, courteous, customer service oriented
- Attention to detail, motivated, goal oriented
- Ability to prioritize workload, completes tasks within a given timeline
- Works well in a team atmosphere
- Knowledge of building materials/products considered an asset
- Demonstrate pride of self, appearance, and pride in work quality
- Forklift experience an asset
- Knowledge of lumber and or building supplies would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
