Part-Time Educational Assistant - Le Petit Monde Préscolaire

Location: North Battleford, SK

Hours: 2-3 mornings per week, 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Start Date: TBD

Le Petit Monde Préscolaire is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Part-Time Educational Assistant to join our preschool team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and wants to contribute to a warm, inclusive, and engaging early-learning environment.

About the Role

The Educational Assistant will work closely with the classroom teacher to support preschool-aged children in their learning, play, and social development. You’ll help create a positive, nurturing space where every child feels encouraged, safe, and excited to learn.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the classroom teacher with daily activities, routines, and transitions.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as needed.
- Help create a welcoming, uplifting, and engaging learning environment.
- Model positive behavior and support children in social and emotional skill development.
- Assist with classroom set-up, clean-up, and general organization.
- Follow all preschool policies and safety procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Updated Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector (required before start date).
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate is an asset but not required.
- Ability to speak French is considered an asset but not a requirement.
- Experience working with young children is an asset.
- Warm, patient, and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow direction, work as part of a team, and maintain professionalism with families.

Position Details
- Part-time: 2-3 mornings per week
- Shift times: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM
- Wage to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
