**Summary of Position**

Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioral support as required by students and directed by teachers.

- Battleford Central School POD EA
- Bready Elementary School
- Connaught Elementary School
- McKitrick Community School
- Lawrence Elementary School
- POD EA - can be moved within the Battlefords to other schools if necessary to cover needs.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
- Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
