**Child Care Center Supervisor**

**Location: Burlington L7M 0Z4**

**Position Type: Full-Time**

**Job Summary**

The Child Care Center Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, developing age-appropriate programs, mentoring educators, and maintaining compliance with Ministry of Education regulations. The Supervisor will collaborate closely with the center owner/director to uphold the center's mission and values while fostering a positive atmosphere for children, families, and staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage all aspects of the child care center, including staffing, curriculum development, and daily operations.
- Develop and implement inclusive educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities.
- Mentor and support staff by modeling best practices in early childhood education and caregiving techniques.
- Focus on maintaining current enrollment levels while planning and executing strategies to increase enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and maintain a safe, secure environment for children and staff.
- Build strong relationships with parents/guardians through regular communication and engagement in center activities.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress, develop and share progress reports.
- Organize professional development opportunities for staff on topics such as early childhood education and working with children with special needs.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare or early learning setting.
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or equivalent qualifications recognized in Ontario.
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
- Proven ability to increase enrollment through innovative strategies and strong community engagement.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
