Dock Solutions Specialist

role accountabilities
- Dimming freight for assigned list of Clients and updating Fleet Manager
- Coordinate the scheduling of Carrier Partners picking up and delivering to the ONE Milton facility. Proactively follow up with partners and re-schedule appointments accordingly in the event of delays. Communicate all scheduling using the Warehouse Dock Log and Fleet Manager
- Make sure CSS Team prepared paperwork for freight planned to arrive to our ONE facility
- Answer driver warehouse door, check drivers in/out, have drivers sign required paperwork and update Warehouse Log and Fleet Manager in real time.
- Scan carrier partner / ABF manifests into Fleet Manager Pro and index accordingly
- Index pictures of trailers and freight into Fleet Manager to assigned Trip / Contract number
- Make sure trucks are entering and exiting the facility safely keeping the dock doors clear of still traffic
- Report counts discrepancies/damages in real time to the Dock Lead and Client Solutions Team
- Clean and maintain the physical state of the warehouse and dock to ensure that all walkways/lift paths are safe and clear of debris.
- expected to maintain a forklift license in good standing to be able to help with dock work as necessary once other assigned duties are fulfilled
- Follow all health and safety procedures, recognize, and report any potential risks within all warehouse operations, and participate on the Health & Safety Committee.

education, skills & attributes required
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or GED equivalent) required
- English Literacy
- 1-3+ Years Experience - Warehousing
- 1-3+ Years Experience - Transportation & Logistics
- 1-3+ Years Experience - LTL Environment
- Strong time management skills required
- Exceptional Oral & Written Communication Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

**Salary**: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
