**Job Title: Part-Time Soup & Gourmet Foods Counter Server**

Location: Granville Island Public Market, Vancouver, BC.

Part-time (1-3 days per week: Weekends and possibly Monday)

Shifts: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are a specialty gourmet foods shop offering soups, stocks, dressings, compound butters, mustards, and other artisan-quality products. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming, friendly experience for everyone who visits our shop.

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Customer Service Associate to join our team. This is a front-of-house role at our soup counter and product showcase. You will engage with customers, serve our delicious soups, and help customers discover our specialty products. Customer service is the top priority

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Serve soups and other prepared foods with care and attention to detail
- Provide information about our gourmet products and assist with sales
- Maintain a clean and organized counter and showcase
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently

**Requirements**:

- Friendly, outgoing personality with a strong focus on customer service
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable standing for long periods and handling food safely
- Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
