**Soup/Sauce Maker - Part-Time**
- The Stock Market, Granville Island Public Market_
- $19/hour to start | Potential increase to $20/hour after 3 months based on performance_
- 2-3 days per week | Shifts vary between 6:30am-2:30pm and 9:00am-5:00pm_

The Stock Market is a long-standing favourite in the Granville Island Public Market, known for creating fresh, high-quality soups, stocks, and sauces from scratch. **The Role**

We’re looking for a part-time **Soup/Sauce Maker** to join our small but mighty kitchen team. You’ll be responsible for preparing large batches of soups, sauces, and stocks according to our trusted recipes. This role is ideal for someone with professional kitchen or food production experience who’s looking for a consistent, hands-on job without a full-time schedule.

**What You’ll Do**
- Follow recipes to make stocks, soups, and sauces in large volumes
- Work with precision and consistency to maintain product quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
- Lift heavy pots and ingredients and stay on your feet throughout your shift
- Support the team with general kitchen prep and cleanup as needed

**What We’re Looking For**
- Culinary or food production experience (large batch cooking is a bonus)
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately
- Comfortable with physical work (lifting, stirring, standing for long periods)
- Reliable, consistent, and attentive to detail
- Someone who enjoys a routine and takes pride in well-made food
