**Position Summary**:
The Purchasing Department is responsible for the purchase of raw materials, purchased finished goods, and equipment and supplies. The Purchasing Department will also be responsible for the procurement of new products and technologies. The department will be responsible for maintaining a high level of quality in all purchases.

**Essential Functions**:

- Receive quotes froom vendors and review them to determine price, delivery time, and availabilty
- Review purchase orders to ensure that all prices are accurate and that the terms are acceptable
- Obtain vendor quotations and review them to determine the best price for the job
- Plan travel itineraries and set up meeting logistics
- Track appointments and maintain complex calendar schedule
- Create and update records and filing systems
- Draft, review and send communications of behalf of CEO
- Source and purchase materials, equipment and services
- Implement inventory control measures including stock checks and maintain adequate supply levels
- Act as point of contact between CEO and internal and external colleagues
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO

**Position Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail
- Must be able to work within a very fast paced environment
- Use professional discretion at all times
