About the Role: We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive Purchaser to support daily procurement operations. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage vendor relationships, coordinate inventory needs, and drive cost-effective sourcing strategies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, enjoys optimizing supply chain performance, and brings an analytical mindset that turns data into smart, actionable decisions. Location: Niagara Falls, Ontario Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive salary, health benefits, RRSP match Key Responsibilities: Source and procure chemicals, packaging, janitorial equipment and industrial cleaners. Analyze usage trends and support demand forecasting. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; evaluate new vendor opportunities. Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and manage non-conformance procedures. Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Negotiate pricing and delivery terms aligned with company goals. Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP system with accurate documentation. Support cross-functional coordination with accounting, customer service, and sales. What you bring: Post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 4+ years of purchasing/procurement experience (experience with cleaning products or manufacturing is a plus). Proven ability to source across multiple vendors and negotiate supply contracts. Strong ERP and Microsoft Office Suite skills; advanced Excel proficiency. Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. Knowledge of relevant regulations and product standards an asset. Preferred Assets: Purchasing/Supply Chain certification. Bilingual (English/French). Experience with hazardous materials regulations. Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices.
