Brewery Sales Representative

Ottawa, Canada Dominion City Brewing Co. Full time

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining licensee, retail beer and wholesale City Seltzer sales accounts.

**Sales Targets**: Meet sales targets for licensee sales, retail channels (LCBO, TBS, grocery), and City Seltzer wholesale accounts.

**Account Management**: Acquire new sales accounts (LCBO, licensees, wholesale) and maintain relationships with existing licensee and retail accounts.

**Event Representation**: Represent the company at events, festivals, and occasionally in the taproom, including pouring product, event setup, and teardown. Travel outside of Ottawa to build an out-of-town sales network.

**Collaboration and Forecasting**:Work closely with the Sales Director to meet revenue targets and support the development of the annual company forecast.

**Order Processing and Analysis**: Process orders accurately and utilize software (Excel, etc.) for reporting and analysis of sales data.

**Cross-Departmental Collaboration**: Work closely with production, front of house, and management to achieve company goals.

**Flexible Working Hours**: Maintain flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet sales targets and represent the company.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring and maintaining sales channels. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with licensees and retail accounts.
- Strong networking skills and ability to build and leverage a professional network to drive sales growth.
- Experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets for multiple product lines (e.g., licensee, retail, wholesale).
- Experience in supporting the development of annual sales forecasts and strategic planning.
- Experience in representing a company at events and festivals, including event setup, teardown, and product presentation.
- Willingness to travel outside of Ottawa for events and to build a sales network.
- Ability to work closely with various teams, including sales, production, front of house, and management to achieve company goals.
- Proficiency in using software for reporting and analysis (e.g., Excel).
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Relevant degree or certification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the beverage industry or with similar products (e.g., beer, seltzer).
- In-depth understanding of the industry, including market trends and customer preferences.
- Successful history of achieving sales goals in a similar role or industry.

This is a full time position that will be required to split time between off-site and on-site duties. May include a requirement to travel within Ontario if needed.

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
