**Job Overview**
As a PSW with Access Mobility MedCare you will be a part of a very diverse environment when we support equity and inclusion to our staff and clients. We trust that you will care for our clients with compassion, and support that is required to ensure safety and dignity is maintained. Our clients deal with different types of challenges therefore your role will include: grooming, bathing, dressing, bathroom support and meal preparation. You may also be asked to perform some light housekeeping and companionship or emotional support. You are comfortable traveling/commuting to and from the client's home throughout the day within the community.

**Duties**
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer and monitor medication intake and effect.
- Assist with serving and feeding client meals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients; cleaning bathroom and bedroom.
- Offer companionship and emotional support for clients.
- Help clients with mobility and transportation needs as required; supervise and assist walking.
- Dressing and grooming of client.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- Ontario Certified Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate and/or National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) certificate.
- Criminal background check.
- Current Immunization Records.
- Must speak Cantonese/Mandarin and some English
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support and care.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Cantonese (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- PSW or NACC Certificate (required)

Work Location: In person
