The role of the Overnight Supervisor is responsible for all overnight functions within the warehouse facility: the overnight team both starts and ends the production day. In addition to acting as the primary liaison between the company’s departments, this role supervises the flow of the receiving and production teams and is responsible for all staff relations within the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the scheduling, payroll and leave management of all overnight warehouse employees
- Assist in the evaluation and execution of hiring and termination of any overnight warehouse employees, with support of Human Resources and the Production Manager
- Supervise the workflow of all overnight receiving and production activity within the facility
- Work closely alongside the team to ensure day’s orders are efficiently processed, packed and ready for shipping as per manifests
- Support overnight leadership team, including assisting with position development and coaching
- Maintain an awareness and alignment with all shifts to successfully achieve our daily goals
- Set time-specific goals for personnel performing all receiving duties
- Work alongside associates for areas of continuous improvement
- Schedule inbound deliveries with vendors and suppliers
- Report on any ongoing supplier pain points, such as fill rate issues, delivery delays
- Act as liaison between warehouse and other departments regarding promotions, special events and other company initiatives that may impact or rely on increased production
- Establish and communicate efficiency metrics to ensure maximum productivity within warehouse operation
- Monitor and evaluate all Health and Safety best practices on warehouse floor, ensuring superior level of compliance by all staff
- Work directly with Human Resources to execute and maintain new policies and training initiatives
- Evaluate staffing levels on ongoing basis to ensure levels are available to meet and exceed customer expectations

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a warehouse environment
- Excellent leadership qualities, verbal and written communication skills, technical analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong computer and good communication skills along with good mathematical skills are required
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to motivate team
- Passion for Health & Safety
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physically able to work in a production environment
