At several campuses of care and other service locations across the Greater Toronto Area, Yee Hong offers a full continuum of services including active seniors programs, adult day programs, caregiver support services, transportation, meals on wheels, congregate dining, home care, long-term care, and hospice/palliative care.

**Job Posting - Summer Job Vacancies**

**Accounting Clerk (SCAR, MKH)**
- Assists with project budgets, provides accounting and clerical assistance

**Administrative Clerk (SCAR, MKH)**
- Provides administrative support including maintaining an online data base of client records and sorting and scanning of records

**Business Service Officer (MKH)**
- Captures data for Life Lease Market Intelligence Research Project, compiles and troubleshoots the existing life lease agreement record system, and CRM

**Dietetics Office Clerk (All Locations)**
- Provides support to the Food Services department, including verifying diet orders, supplements, and snacks; updating resident food requirements, conducting inventory, etc.

**Employer-Employee Relations Coordinator (MKH)**
- Assists the local HR office with overall clerical tasks.

**Geriatric Activities Coordinator (MKH, MSS)**
- Assists with designing and delivering recreational programs appropriate for seniors.

**Geriatric and Recreational and Leisure Activities Coordinator (All Locations)**
- Assists with designing an intergenerational program appropriate for seniors and students.

**Nursing Services Aide (All Locations)**
- Assists in establishing a system of retention and maintenance of residents’ records and chart audits in compliance with legislation.

**Public Relations Clerk (SCAR)**
- Defines e-media targets for Yee Hong’s existing social media profiles. Expands the use of e-media channels to reach multilingual audiences.

**Research Assistant (SCAR)**
- Applies fundamental knowledge of research principles and practices to data collection, storage, and organization, management, analysis, and interpretation.

**Social Service Assistant (SCAR)**
- Provides social work office administrative support to the agency

**Social Services Volunteer Coordinator (SCAR, MSS)**
- Launch of Volunteer Recruitment Campaign for set target group.

**Staffing Clerk (SCAR, MSS)**
- Provides administrative support to the recruitment team

**For all positions**:
**Contract Length**:8 weeks

**Hours of Work**:35 hours per week

**Rate**:$15.50/hour

**Qualifications**:

- Must be between the ages of 15-30 years of age at the start of the job
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally able to work in Ontario
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
- Proven demonstrated initiative
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work remotely as required
- Previous experience working with the elderly population an asset
- Good oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Chinese, Japanese or a South-Asian language required for some positions.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for some positions
