**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their experience is enjoyable from start to finish.
**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
- Demonstrate time management skills by prioritizing tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service.
**Skills**
- Previous barista experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with the food industry and food service practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
