**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the espresso machine and other coffee-making equipment with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Uphold food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.

**Skills**
- Experience in food preparation and handling within the food industry is preferred.
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling practices.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to foster positive customer interactions.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
