Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and delivering delicious food and beverages to our patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the food service area, including cooking, cleaning, and restocking supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly when required.
  • Assist with barista duties as needed, including preparing coffee and specialty beverages.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Experience in serving food or beverages in a fast-paced setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with hospitality principles and practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Barista experience is a nice-to-have skill for those interested in beverage preparation.
