The Sales Support - Production Scheduler position is responsible for liaising between RSMs, dealers and internal departments. This individual provides essential support for the sales team. Responsible for the efficient processing & scheduling of all door sales order. Contributes to overall positive customer experience. This is a full-time on-site position at our facility located in Barrie, Ontario.
**Major Responsibilities/Activities**:
1. Processes and schedules all TNR door sales orders.
2. Liaises between Production and other internal departments with regards to the schedule, as required.
3. Communicates to Sales Support on any late orders.
4. Supports the RSMs in the quoting process for all doors, but with an emphasis on “non-standard” items.
5. Supports the continuous improvement, maintenance and deployment of the Sales process from the Quote Stage to Order Acknowledgement including:
a. Quoting doors and accessories.
b. Obtaining Freight Quotes from carriers.
c. Preparing Approval Drawings as required.
d. Continuing follow up with dealers/RSM’s for returned Signed Approval Drawings on outstanding customer POs.
e. Ensuring accuracy of Quote, Approval Drawing and/or Customer PO.
f. Generating BOMs in Drive Works or manually as required.
g. Processing sales orders for TNR Products, generating and distributing Order Acknowledgements to Sales Support team.
h. Liaising with dealers in conjunction with RSMs.
6. Maintains Driveworks Accessories Database including:
a. Providing feedback on execution of new systems implementation
b. Assisting in maintaining and updating product items in Synergy and Macola
c. Assisting in maintaining Synergy contact details in current state - address changes, adding or deleting individual contacts, etc.
7. Is an active participant in Continuous Improvement program.
8. Participates in training programs.
9. Complies with all health and safety rules and regulations.
10. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Post - secondary education an asset
- Previous sales and/or customer service experience
- Previous production scheduling is an asset
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:
- Knowledge of the high-performance door industry an asset
- Proficiency with MS Office Programs (IE. Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Ability to multitask & meet deadline with mínimal supervision & flexibility.
- Ability to resolve problems & communicate effectively to customers.
- Well organized, proactive and positive approach in the work place.
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
