**Join Our Team as a Maintenance Operator - Multi-Property Portfolio (Full-Time)**

Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly, safely, and efficiently? We’re looking for a reliable **Maintenance** Operator** to join our team and support a dynamic portfolio of **retail, industrial, and office properties**.

In this key role, you’ll handle everything from preventative maintenance and routine inspections to tenant support and emergency response. You’ll be the go-to for ensuring our properties are well-maintained, safe, and operating at their best.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Perform ongoing maintenance, minor repairs, and inspections across multiple properties.
- Ensure buildings are clean, safe, and operating efficiently at all times.
- Respond to tenant service requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitor building systems (including rooftop units, boilers, and air handlers) and complete daily utility readings.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and ensure they're completed on time and to standard.
- Coordinate with contractors and oversee work on site.
- Maintain mechanical and electrical rooms, keeping them clean, organized, and compliant.
- Travel to Red Deer (1 - 2 days per month) for routine maintenance and repair work.
- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and assist with quotes and project planning.
- Take part in the after-hours on-call rotation of emergency issues.

**What You Bring**:

- 1+ years of experience in building operations or maintenance roles, ideally across diverse property types.
- Comfortable with minor plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC-related repairs.
- Experience with BMS systems, pneumatics, and VAV systems is a strong asset.
- 5th Class Power Engineer's Certificate, SMA or SMT designation (preferred but not required).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Certifications in WHMIS, First Aid, and CPR, or a willingness to obtain them within 6 months.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency using a smartphone and basic computer systems to manage work orders and reports..
