**About the Job**
As a heavy equipment operator you will run Articulated Trucks, Haul Trucks, Loaders, Excavators, and Bulldozers. Rotating through a variety of machines and duties means there’s lots to do and learn.
This is a contract position based at our Essex County, Windsor location. Our quarries run on various shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. - and your work could happen any time between these hours. We’ll work together to establish a fairly predictable schedule though. Starting wage $30/hour
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Running heavy equipment
- General labour
- Shoveling buildup around and inside processing equipment
- Completing repairs on processing equipment such as clipping conveyor belting, replacing rollers, bearings, drive belts, and screens, etc
**Here’s What You Need**
- At least 1 years’ experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Experience working in a quarry or sand and gravel pit
- Safety training and mechanical aptitude are an asset
- Common core training is an asset
