**Channel Sales Manager (EMEA & APAC)**:
Montreal, QC, Canada

We are currently seeking a resourceful, successful, and experienced Channel Sales Manager as we continue increasing our market share throughout the world. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of our continued expansion - overseeing all aspects of the existing and future channel business in Europe and APAC. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be highly driven, have strong leadership skills, be an amazing team player, and have a passion for learning about and engaging with all local and international key stakeholders.

Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, you will lead a channel sales team that consists of resellers and agents as we continue and accelerate our current expansion.**Responsibilities**:

- Building, maintaining & managing relationships with current/prospective channel partners
- Identifying, supporting recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners
- Meeting and surpassing assigned targets and strategic objectives
- Ensuring sales operational excellence throughout the channel
- Working to ensure quotas/forecasts/deadlines are met on a monthly basis and accurate reporting is maintained throughout the entire fiscal year
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
- Have flawless collaboration with the channel marketing team to ensure alignment
- Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders
- Coordinate the involvement of other Toon Boom personnel when appropriate, including but not limited to technical support, customer success, and management resources as and when required, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations
- Sell through partner organizations to end-users in coordination with partner sales resources when necessary
- Manage direct/channel conflict by fostering excellent communication between the channel and direct teams
- Ensure partner compliance with Channel Partner programs and agreements
- Ensure the proper use of our CRM database and tools to track performance
- Participate in the partner planning process to foster mutually beneficial performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
- Become a student of the animation industry’s culture, remaining aware of international customs and manners/protocols
- Contribute to the global success of our company

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or other relevant field, preferred
- Previous experience in driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channel
- Demonstrated experience selling in software, high-tech, and/or animation space in a channel model
- Experience managing partner relationships that are based on both selling software licenses and developing/delivering service offerings tied to vendor product
- International business acumen and understanding of business and cultural diversity
- Experience with B2B sales
- Exceptionally organized (rigorous and disciplined) and driven by success; competitive personality
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure work environments
- Outstanding negotiating skills
- Professional knowledge of SFDC is an asset
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and Toon Boom teams
- Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
- Decisive and committed
- Strong personal network within the industry
- Willingness to travel
- A natural leader who inspires and motivates those around them
- Able to communicate effectively and efficiently in French and English, third language preferred
