**Role Overview**: We are seeking empathetic and dependable Community Support Workers to join our team on a casual contract basis. This role involves supporting individuals in the community to live independently and achieve their personal goals, offering essential care and companionship.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or community settings, including assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, household tasks, and personal hygiene.
- Help clients access community resources and engage in social activities.
- Monitor and report on the health and well-being of clients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of client interactions and the care provided.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Clear police clearance and driver's abstract.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or support role is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to client care.

**About Us**: We have established contracts with multiple stakeholders, and our program undergoes a rigorous licensing process to ensure that high standards are consistently maintained. Our program is staffed around the clock, seven days a week, by a diverse team of professionals possessing a wide range of skills. These dedicated staff members undergo extensive training to effectively address the unique needs of our clients, aiming to meet their holistic requirements. We recognize the significance of community in an individual’s development and growth, and thus, we prioritize the health and well-being of all roommates. While some of our individuals attend day programs outside of school or engage in on-site/off-site recreational activities, our team members collaborate with them to prepare meals and maintain cleanliness on a daily basis.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- Community Support: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)
