**Job Summary**:
The Yard Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the truck movement and yard management.

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Checks incoming drivers into the Yard and performs gate security
- Assigns yard locations for trailer drops as needed
- Communicates with Drivers and Shunters of required truck movement
- Data entry of updates into Yard Management System (YMS) for trailer drops
- Ensures effective communication from the office to the warehouse
- Performs hourly yard checks to ensure trailers' have adequate fuel levels and refrigeration units are running; report issues as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies**:

- 1-2 years of office administrative experience in a warehouse environment.
- Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to work as a team or individually.
- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Must be a self-starter and a team player.
- Exceptional computer knowledge with respect to Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
