**Your role would involve**:
- Overseeing the day to day operations, including client admission, care provision and discharge
- Providing leadership to the Team Leads and other program staff with respect to training, assessing performance, staffing ratios, work delegation, monitoring and approving vacation/sick days and team meetings
- Monitoring program statistics and ensuring targets are me
- Working with other departments as needed with respect to addressing facility-related issues
- Being an active member of internal committee(s) related to quality, meeting accreditation standards, health and safety and/or health management
**Requirements for the position include**:
- A health-related bachelor’s degree, preferably in recreation therapy, or equivalent combination of education in a professional regulated field, and experience; cultural competency training is an asset
- 2-3 years supervisory/leadership experience in the community sector strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in an Adult Day Program setting is an asset
- Demonstrate strong program management and effective critical thinking and problem solving skills, ability to deal effectively with complex and ambiguous situations
- Must possess strong leadership, motivation, delegation, coaching/mentoring and empowerment skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships internally and externally with a wide range of stakeholders and partnering organizations
- Excellent communication (written and oral), team building, organizational, conceptual and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Internet
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Fluency in another language is an asset
- On-call duties are required
- This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and you must provide Lumacare with proof of vaccination prior to employment.

**Salary**: $48,000.00 per year
